Termite Control
Different construction techniques, house plans, and climates, as well as termite habits -
each affect how your home should be treated for termites. We take into consideration all
these factors when a Terminix professional conducts a thorough inspection of your home.
Based on the results of the inspection, our technicians apply the termite control materials
best suited to handle your particular problem. Either a barrier treatment or a baiting
system or a combination of both can be utilized to protect your property.
Barrier Treatment - Our treatment plan works in two ways. First, it helps prevent
new termites from entering your home in their search for food. Second, it is designed
to kill those already inside by depriving them of the moisture they need to survive.
Baiting - The advanced weapon in the war on termites features the Sentricon® Colony
Elimination System. This method of termite control targets termites where they live,
helping to prevent infestations and even eliminating the entire colony.
Pretreatments - Before the foundation is poured for new construction, we treat the
soil to create a horizontal barrier. Then about a year later we follow up by trenching
and treating around the perimeter of the building.
Wood-Destroying Insect Reports, Soil Treatment Reports
These are the reports required in real estate transfers and mortgage financing. The
Structural Pest Control Commission licenses and authorizes our Termite Technicians for
the preparation of these reports under the direction of our licensees.
